Mentoring, Staff Supervision  & Development

 
It is estimated that more than 13 million working days are lost each year through stress, at a cost of $9.12 billion to employers. (UK statistics)
This is of course debilitating for those suffering stress most directly, but it also affects the efficiency and productivity of the organisation concerned. The law also puts at risk of legal action those organisations that are deemed to have allowed their employees to have suffered stress at work.
All this can add up to a real problem for employers
I can provide help and support to organisations where stress levels are affecting the healthy functioning of employees. I have assisted numerous employers and employees to improve their communication and performance, as well as to strengthen their relations.
A benefit of this service is that it can also improve quality of life for everyone in the work setting.
Mentoring and Development
I provide individual and group sessions for managers and team leaders to discuss work-related issues. This has proven to be beneficial, especially to those whose career has recently advanced or for people who have recently formed a new team.

Staff supervision

Supporting front line staff in welfare and health related orgnisations to cope better with some of the challenges of their work enhances their personal resilience and assists  the team to operate more effectively. Regular group or individual supervision can facilitate this. Geographically distant teams can have telephone group supervision.
